Danny Mrwanda was sent off for a dangerous tackle in the 72nd minute.   After the match, BDF coach, Letang Kgengwenyane said he had advised his players to avoid conceding. He said the main challenge was lack of experience. “We played well and showed character. You can see that BDF is coming back to where I had left it. We need to play more international games. We were playing against a skilful side,” he said.

Young African tactician, Johannes Vander Pluijm said the plan was to avoid crosses because they can be deadly. He said BDF utilised them to get goals. He said it difficult to balance the CAF competition and the league back home.
