Rolling Boys aim to bounce back

Boys were beaten by Jwaneng Galaxy FC over the weekend at SSG ground.
The side is now at position nine with 19 points from 16 matches.
Boys’ public relations officer, Tshiamo Marekwa said they are going through a dry spell and that happens to most football clubs. He said the club started the season well and even after parting ways with their former coach, Wire Kaelo, they won three games in a row. He said it means the players lost form along the way. He pointed out that parting ways with Kaelo has not affected the performance of the players. Marekwa said Webster Kurwaisimba is a good coach.
He stated that they are trying by all means to find the solution to the club’s poor performance.
“We are losing matches easily due to mistakes either by our players or match officials. We also have a challenge of conceding in the dying minutes of the game.
“We are hopeful that we will bounce and become one of the best sides in the league,” he said.
He noted that Boys’ skipper, Orapeleng Nkwe has been out of action for some time due to injuries and he has left a void in the scoring department.
He said the side has quality players in the likes of Mogomotsi Keabaitse, Kabo Matlhare and Gomolemo Ramaabya but they are not utilising the chances they get.
He noted that maybe the players no longer have hunger to score matches. Marekwa said Boys played well last season, going all the way to the promotional play-offs where they lost to BR Highlanders.
Marekwa said the management of the club is providing everything necessary to motivate the players, but it seems like it is not enough.
He said they intend to resuscitate themselves when they take over Black Peril on Saturday. Meanwhile, in other games played over the weekend, Lesirane walloped Gantsi Terrors 2-0, Killer Giants played to a 1-1 draw against Prisons XI while Sharps Electrical pulled a 0-0 against Mogoditshane Fighters. Modipane United beat Santos 2-0 and Black Forest hammered Black Peril 3-1.
