Modipe Club Roars Back Into Live

Located less than a kilometer south of Modipane, the club provides a perfect chilling spot for those who are looking to escape the busy city life and enjoy music in a relaxed atmosphere.

On Friday, house outfit Crowd Capella, Darkboy Masey and Chabo, both RB2 DJs, Badcular and Trevor G kicked off a weekend of good music.

On Saturday, DJ Badcular led a host of local DJs (from Modipane) to light up the night, which had earlier been dented by a group of police officers who confiscated sound systems at the village’s two most popular bars Side Way and Senosennye after residents allegedly complained of noise from the two bars.

The event also featured, DJ Trevor G, Drive, Maxx and Marvel Mak.

“We are trying to bring back the exciting times here. We plan to bring as many popular names as possible to Modipe club. But we would not sideline our own because we want them to  grow and there is no better way than starting here at home,” Badcular told Showtime.

The club will be hosting an “All Star Friday” show on Friday 27 where another RB2 DJ Boza is expected to feature. Badcular and Trevor G will support him.
