Galaxy found the back of the net through Goareng Bagale and Tshepo Borake.  Galaxy started the game on a high  and had an attempt at goal as early as the fifth minute.  Galaxy continued to pile pressure and had a good chance in the 12th minute, but Bagale’s shot was well saved by Mmoloki Sedimo. Three minutes later, Galaxy had another chance after a good build up between experienced midfielder, Boitumelo Mafoko and Kagiso Molapi. Molapi’s final touch, however, let him down and his shot went narrowly wide.

Boys were forced to make an early substitution after Omphile Sebolai picked up an injury. Bagale broke the deadlock in the 20th minute with a good shot. After the goal, Rolling Boys raised their game in search for the  equaliser, but Bagale’s goal separated the two sides at half time. Rolling Boys were awarded a free kick in the 53rd minute and Mogomotsi Keabaitse made no mistake this time, putting his side on level terms. Galaxy threw in  Tshokolo Gaborone in the 57th minute to try and add firepower upfront.

Rolling Boys also introduced striker, Galefetoge Kenaope. However, it was Galaxy who got the second goal with just four minutes remaining. Borake dribbled past Rolling Boys defenders and smashed the ball past Rolling Boys goalkeeper to give his side the vital win.

Galaxy coach, Oris Radipotsane said the victory was not an easy one. He said there is no easy team in the league and knew that they had to avoid undermining their opponents. “I introduced Tshiamo Moreetsi to try and change the game in our favour. I also gave Gaborone game time because I wanted to assess him,” he said.

For his part, Boys coach, Webster Kwaraisimba said luck was not on his side as evidenced by the chances that they failed to bury.
