Trinity lands Canadian radio station gig

“I am self motivated and take time exploring my other hidden talents. I took a chance and applied like other candidates and luckily got the job,” he said, adding that he works only on weekends.
Trinity started as a newsreader at Radio Kilimanjaro, but will now be hosting a new African music show. Radio Kilimanjaro is an African radio station based in Toronto, Canada, which has a number or presenters in the Diaspora and is accessible online.
Asked how he was settling in at his new job, he said, “It’s a great challenge because you deal with a diverse population, but it has been an awesome experience and a great learning curve”. Interestingly, according to the artist, the radio station has been playing his music ever since he relocated to Canada.
Trinity who released his debut album before relocating has been busy performing in a number of venues in Canada and is currently working on a collaboration with a leading artist there. “I am working on a collabo with one of the greatest musicians here called Tomi Swick. We shared the stage in a festival in the past and he loved my performance. My record label is now working on our single and we are half way through it,” he said.
The industrious Trinity further told Showbiz that he has just completed his post graduate in strategic human resources. Before going to Canada, he did his bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and a diploma in Statistics at the University of Botswana (UB).
Although Trinity has been doing well for himself in Canada, he assured his local fans that applying for citizenship in the more prosperous country is not a priority. “I am most definitely coming home. I have family, friends and legions of fans in Botswana. I am not sure about applying for a Canadian citizenship, but I live a life open to a good number of options and only God knows what’s next,” he said.
The Afro-jazz artist who has not abandoned his African roots music-wise is expected to release his follow up album some time this year.
