After the goal, Rolling Boys players protested leading to Kabo Matlhare earning himself the only yellow card.  But ,Rolling Boys had themselves to blame because they blew so many opportunities especially in the second half.

Even during the first half, Rolling Boys, formerly known as Security Systems, failed to convert when they were in control of the game.

Santos failed to come to the party as well.   Santos striker Eric Molefhe hesitated to shoot when it mattered, leading to Rolling Boys defenders dispossessing him.  Rolling Boys keeper Mmoloki Sedimo  came to the party saving  a Mcdonald Tshwaranang shot in the first half and a dangerous attempt by the dimuntive Mojwaboswa Bakwena. One of the familiar faces on the Santos line up was former Gaborone United striker Botlhe Rankgomo who was later substituted in the second half.

The game was goal less at half time.

Rolling Boys resumed attack in the second half but continued to waste their chances.   Matlhare missed one of the chances for Rolling Boys as he rifled into the sky with the goalkeeper well beaten.  It was not Matlhare’s day as he missed yet another sitter as he shot wide when he was supposed to tap into an  empty net.

For Rolling Boys they rued the chances that they missed.  Rolling Boys coach, Webster Kurwaisimba said they thought they were going to win this game, but unfortunately it was not to be. Santos coach, Innocent Ranku on the other hand said they played well in the first half but missed their chances.  He said defensively his team was good, adding that they need to work more on their finishing.
