Moswate, Boy return for Kaizer Chiefs clash

The two players missed Rollers’ match with BDF XI through injuries. Moswate was injured in the game against Mochudi Centre Chiefs, forcing him to make way at half time. Boy got a knock at training and missed the game against BDF XI in Serowe last Friday.
“They are back with the team. They started training on Monday. The only player who is injured and will miss out is defender, Leutlwetse Tshireletso who is still recovering,” Rollers’ spokesperson Bafana Pheto, said yesterday. He added that coach, Madinda Ndlovu started working with the team on Monday after a two-week absence.
Rollers leave for Johannesburg on Thursday for the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round against Kaizer Chiefs. The Botswana champions have been experiencing a dip in form recently. They have lost the last two games against Mochudi Centre Chiefs and BDF XI.
Ndlovu missed the two games because he was away attending a coaching course in his home country, Zimbabwe. For the African assignment, he is expected to name a 21-man squad that includes new signings, Dirang Moloi, Jerome Ramatlhakwana, Noah Maposa and Tshepo Motlhabankwe.
Moloi made his debut over the weekend against BDF XI, while Motlhabankwe and Ramatlhakwana have already played three games each for Rollers. Maposa is yet to make his debut for the team.
Rollers will have an opportunity to watch and observe Chiefs when they take on Bloemfontein Celtic in an ABSA Premiership match tonight. The South African league has been on a recess because of Bafana Bafana’s participation at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The on-form Kaizer Chiefs are yet to lose a match in the league this season. Pheto said supporters would leave by Mahube buses on Saturday for the match in South Africa.
“They pay P410 with the match tickets included in that price. For those who would want to spend a night in Johannesburg, accommodation prices are P499 and P580,” he said.
