“I am back to the playing fields. I am currently playing for Tonota FC in the First Division North League,” he said.

Back in 2011, Keletso and his friends were involved in a car accident that left him with a career threatening injury. By the time, the 27-year-old had been with ECCO since 2005 and was part of the team that won the Premier League back in 2006. He played for Uniao Flamingo Santos in the 2010-2011 season before returning to ECCO where he was when he was involved in the car accident.

“I sustained a fracture in my right leg and I never thought I will ever play football again, but through God’s grace I am healed and back on the field,” he declared excitedly.

He disclosed that the medical doctor who attended him has confirmed his healing and told him that he can start playing soccer again. “I can feel it, I am completely healed but I will be cautious when playing to avoid any other injuries on this leg,” said Keletso.

He said that he had played several matches so far and has never had any problem and hoping for the best.

He admitted to have been missing action in the football pitches and was now happy that he was back to what he does best. “Playing football is my passion and I had good seasons back in the days playing for both ECCO and Santos,

“My wish is to see myself doing much better than that time, “ he said.

Asked about his future plans, Keletso said that his wish was to see himself playing in the Premier League again, saying he will work hard to achieve that target.

Keletso said his fans gave him support when he was down as they wished him quick recovery to return to the grounds. “My fans have been supportive and I want to promise them that I will bounce back and they will see the Keletso they knew in the field back then.

“What I have to do is to keep fit and very soon I will be okay,” he said.

Keletso said that he has not received any offer from Premier League teams but he is optimistic that soon something will come up.
