Police grill BFA CEO over porn

Masters, who arrived in Botswana in February 2013, was questioned over illegal possession of pornographic material. He was picked at his office shortly before 5:00 pm for questioning and was released the same evening.
“He was picked just before knock off time and questioned. It is unclear what the issue was about but his laptop was taken away. He came to the office yesterday and immediately left. We expect him back at work on Monday as he has taken days off,” said a BFA official on condition of anonymity because he is not authorised to speak on such matters.
Central Police Station commander, Superintendent Modisaotsile Bonang, whose area covers the BFA offices, said he was not aware of the case.
Efforts to contact Masters proved futile as his mobile phone was off. Sources close to the matter alleged that there were pornographic videos, and other BFA officials might be involved in the ring.
