Lovers pile pressure on Miscellaneous

Green Lovers who defeated Amakhosi 3-1 have now reduced Miscellaneous’ lead to two points from four.
Miscellaneous who have not won at home this season could only manage an unconvincing 1-1 draw, their fourth of the season against rivals Tsabothe in a fiercely contested Serowe derby.
Third-placed Mahalapye Hotspurs defeated visiting Tonota FC 1-0 to maintain their status as one of the serious contenders for the league this season. Hotspurs are now five points behind the log leaders.
For the first time this season, Great North Tigers (GNT) have moved out of the automatic relegation zone after beating TASC by a solitary goal in another Francistown derby on Sunday.
GNT are now at position eight with 13 points while TASC dropped two places into the automatic relegation zone to position 11, just one place above bottom-placed Maun Tigers. Both Tigers and TASC have 12 points this season from 12 outings. Tigers managed a rare 2-2 draw away to Palapye All Stars as they fight for survival.
The draw left league debutants All Stars in position five with 15 points.
Kazungula Young Fighters drew 1-1 with a wasteful TAFIC to maintain sixth spot with 14 points. The draw saw TAFIC leapfrog cross-town rivals Amakhosi to position nine.
The two sides have accumulated 13 points but Amakhosi trail TAFIC by virtue of an inferior goal difference.
GNT have a similar number of points like TAFIC and Amakhosi but are ranked higher on goal difference.
