Nico sink closer to relegation

Nico played uninspiring football for the better part of the game, creating very few opportunities while Orapa United were cautious, employing five men at the back.
Nico’s assistant coach, Duncan Segofatso has said despite the defeat, things are looking good.
He said his players played better than they did against BMC the previous weekend.
Nico plunged to 15th spot with the loss and are now in real danger of dropping to the First Division next season.
In fact the situation looks dire for Selebi-Phikwe teams with Satmos 14th on the log.
Against Orapa, Nico appeared rejuvenated with former ECCO City Greens winger, Mogomotsi Samson making runs on the right flank.
However, his crosses were not utilised.
Arnold Mampori, Onkabetse Seforo and the much-touted Onkabetse Makgantai tried in vain to get the ball past Mosimanegape Robert in Orapa United goal.
With the game headed for a stalemate, Patrick Lenyeletse scored the winner in the 75th minute following a goalmouth melee.
Orapa United skipper Thabang Mosige had the Nico United defence in sixes and sevens before laying a good pass to Lenyeletse who poked the ball through a forest of legs in the danger zone. The win continues Orapa United’s purple patch highlighted by a 4-0 demolition of Letlapeng 4-0 in their previous assignment. The Orapa side lie sixth, with 31 points - nine off the pace.
Chippa Koolise, the Orapa United assistant coach praised his players for the three points but expressed worry about the strikers’ lack of composure in the box.
He said they should have wrapped up the game in the first half.
