Domkgrag drum up for votes in Goodhope

Molao knelt down before the crowd that attended the rally asking forgiveness on behalf of his Party.

“Re a le kopa Barolong re itshwareleng ha ele gore re le hoseditse. Thupa e le re biditseng ka yone e botlhoko thata. Re kopa gore re boe re nne le kagiso,” Molao said.

Loosely translated to mean “We are begging you Barolong forgive us if we have offended you. You taught us a painful lesson and please, lets make peace.”

Molao said their  council candidate Kopo Mononi will  deliver as he is expected because he is mature. He further requested BDP members to be united and cooperate in order for them to win the ward.

“This is one of the BDP strong holds. It is upon us as BDP members to retain it. The numbers wont lie, it clearly shows that some of us had voted UDC. Who will trust the BDP if our own members betrays it.”

Another speaker, Alec Seametso, said people should not vote UDC  just because it  is a fashionable party.

“UDC is like a new girl who is new in the village and eventually becomes lovable to all men. We need to be very careful when we vote because at the end we are the ones who are going to regret. I know the girls might prefer it because it has young good looking men but they should know that we are also here,” Seametso said.

Meanwhile, Vice President Mokgweetsi Masisi asked the BDP members to work tirelessly to ensure that they win that ward.

He said the President is also pleading with Barolong to vote for their party on January 31.  Masisi said BDP members should recruit other party members into their party.

“I do not want people who insult others whether they are BDP members or not. Lets respect one another,” Masisi said.
