MsLissah told Showbiz that she is currently in the studio working on the tracks that will be featured in the mixtape to be released during the course of the year.

She said she is working with a number of producers and artists such as Mel D on her upcoming project.

“I have also been approached by South African DJs who want to work with me.  At the moment I cannot disclose their names,” she said.

MsLissah hinted that the mixtape would contain two remixes of her single Cry No More, which made a buzz on social network platforms and radio stations.

She further said that the two remixes will be done by two different producers from House University Music stable, the same recording company, which produced the original version of the song.

The songstress stated that she was thinking of naming the upcoming mixtape The First Lady, but she has not yet finalised the title.

“The purpose of this mixtape is to sell my brand, grow my market and there will also be a new music video,” MsLissah said.

She added that the mixtape would pave way for her debut album.

MsLissah also said as a way of building her brand she will be involved in a number of collaborations, working with artists such as multi-award winner music producer, DJ Oats.

She has previously released a number of singles such as Cry No More, Love Anthem and Weak On My Knees.  She is one of the few house female vocalists in the country who have been persistent in the music genre.

Her perseverance has earned her the title of First Lady of House.
