Rollers rule out new signings

Muzadzi, whose side is unbeaten and four points clear of second placed Mochudi Centre Chiefs, argues signing new players might affect their rhythm.
Rollers are expected to formalise the arrival of Jerome Ramatlhakwana who has been training with the team and Edwin Moalosi who returned from studies in the United States. “There is no need to make any more signings as that might affect our rhythm,” Muzadzi told Mmegi Sport.
Rollers resume their onslaught for a second successive title with a home game against Police XI at the Molepolole Sports Complex.
Muzadzi is of the view that mid-season signings need time to settle in, which is not desired in the second round of the campaign. “Why fix if it is not broken? We have the core and have decided to go with what we have,” he said.
The former Centre Chiefs midfielder said making additions would be akin to dismantling what they have built since the beginning of the season. Muzadzi and his boss, Madinda Ndlovu are chasing a second successive league title at Rollers having arrived from Chiefs.
Their season has largely been powered by the exploits of young Segolame Boy, an off-season capture from Miscellaneous.
Boy might be lost to the South African Premiership following reports clubs across the border are monitoring his progress.
Meanwhile, the second round of the league resumes this weekend with a full programme. The pick of the clashes sees former champions, Chiefs face an improving Extension Gunners side on Friday night. Gunners started the season slowly, but have picked pace with some exciting football, which sees them lie sixth, 12 points off the pace.
