Dubbed ‘Thando Lwakho and Wenzwaba End of Tour Party’, the night started slow but as time went by, they started trickling in.

The show, which was a ‘thank you’ event for supporters of last year’s tour around Botswana for talented disc jockeys Masego Ntshontsi, popularly known as Darkboy Masey, and his colleague Crowd Capella started around 10 pm and ended late.  On the decks were DJs Kuchi, Chabo, Dark Boy Masey, Crowd Capella, MK Beats, Big Daddy Moo to mention a few.

The crowd, aged between 18 and 30, went crazy from the first set of house music by MK Beats, then followed Big Daddy Mo with Hip Hop, Kuchi with Naija and house mixes, Chabo with House.

Upcoming single for popular DJ Chabo featuring Shari and Crowd Capella was played at the show and was well-received by the crowd.

The Dros dance floor was on fire as revellers danced the night away. The show did not attract a large crowd, but the few that attended made it a fun night.

According to Authorised Entertainment (A.E.) Administrative Director, Kitso Kgengwenyane, said that they wanted to throw an appreciation gig for their supporters as they made their tour a success and profitable.

He also said that they did not want to charge entrance fee because they know that people are coming from the festive season.  The A.E. stable has about five artists with four men and one woman called Shari. They have worked with big stars including Noello, Kuchi, Chef Gustos, Amantle, and Amanandos.

Darkboy Masey’s Wenzwaba and Crowd Capella’s Thando Lwakho singles were released last year and they were launched during the national tour.

The tour covered areas of Molepolole, Francistown, Boatle, Gaborone, and others.  “We are working hard to grow our brand and remain relevant in the music industry,” A.E Marketing Director, Zaine Aftermath said.He further said that there are greater things to come in the pipeline like opening a new club and having an annual big show.

“We promise to bring quality and world-class music videos from our artists soon,” A.E Creative Director, Amuchilani Rara, said. Meanwhile, Motswako star Mooketsi ‘Noello’ Letlhalerwa is about to be signed by A.E.
