Through the agency, they plan to teach dance and theatre. This development comes after TNT held a series of dance workshops across the country last year.

The dance crew formed another group in Zimbabwe in 2014. TNT crew leader Charles Mangiroza, who is a former Mophatho dance group member, told Showbiz that the crew has decided to take urban dance to a professional level by establishing an agency that will offer dance lessons to the public, and choreography for music videos. He added that TNT senior dancers will instruct the dance lessons.

Mangiroza said that they will offer various dance styles from break-dancing, to krumping and popping, just to mention just a few. He also said the dance crew is currently recruiting new dancers to help them grow the project. He further added that they are looking forward to competing against other prominent dance crews such as the Mophatho theatre and Tumisang Baatshwana’s Sky Blue Entertainment.

Mangiroza, a passionate dancer who also doubles as a hip-hop aerobics instructor, says TNT will move on from competing in small competitions and other small dance events to focus on corporate ones that they hope will put them on the map.

“If we are to participate in small events, we might just send out only a small number of our dancers,” he said.

TNT is one of the few groups in the country, that has been a strong force in the development of urban dance in Botswana. The group has participated alongside international acts from South Africa and USA. They also made it to the finals of Love World Festival of the Arts competition, which was held in South Africa, outclassing international acts.

The  urban dance agency will be the first of its kind dance to operate in Botswana.
