Barrows, a law student at the University of Botswana told Mmegi Sport that the development came after he approached the OP in a bid to fulfill his dream of becoming a professional.

He said the OP has agreed to help him get a club abroad and pay for his studies and other expenses. “We are currently at a stage where I am about to select a team for trials,” he explained.

He said among the teams he is considering is Athletico Sportif Avacio of Angola where he went for trials previously. The former Dolphins skipper said that he is also looking for opportunities in Germany and Israel.

“The head of the Israel Consulate in Gaborone Richard Lyons is also helping to see if he can get me an Israelite team,” stated Barrows.

He has previously played for clubs in Zimbabwe and Angola. He will undertake distance studies with UNISA after he gets a professional club.
