The line up included Soares “DJ SK” Katumbela, who also presents the Duma FM weekend jazz programme, DJ Milton, Lobatse based jazz DJ Masala Phiri, DJ Clarence and Duma FM classics and oldies presenter Mohumi “DJ Humzie” Moipolai.

Jazz lovers from all walks, some of who were dressed to the nines, flocked the venue.

Renowned jazzman and Gabz FM jazz programme host, Uncle Shima Monageng, attended the event with his family.

South African Afro jazz songstress Sonti Ndebele, a regular visitor to the country, also graced the occasion.

Veteran muso John Selolwane attended show, together with a host of other artists like Nono Siile, were also present.

The session started at 11am and went on until midnight.

Revellers were treated to Afro jazz melodies the whole day.  It was only towards the end of the show that the DJs dished out old school tunes.

The show was well attended, and revellers seemed to be having the time of their life, dancing and singing along to the music. There were jumping castles and jungle gyms for those who were accompanied by their children.

This ensured that adults enjoyed themselves under a peaceful relaxed atmosphere.

Show organiser, Katumbela, said he was impressed with the turn out of the event as it had been a resounding success.

He noted that there was continuity and growth in terms of attendance and that revelers enjoyed themselves.

He also applauded the DJs, who he noted dished out some of the best tunes, much to the audiences’ delight.
