Rollers, Chiefs continue good runs

 

Rollers showed no mercy to FC Satmos as they punished them with a 4-1 drabbing on Saturday.The be MOBILE Premier League defending champions have increased their lead to 36 points from the 14 matches that they have played. Rollers are yet to lose a game in the current season. The champions have won 11 matches, found the back of the net on 36 occasions and conceding eight times.

Chiefs occupy the second spot after 2-0 win over Gaborone United on Friday evening. The Kgatleng giants have now accumulated 30 points, six points behind Rollers.

Chiefs have won nine matches, drawn three times and have 32 goals. BMC are placed third with 25 points despite a poor run against Sankoyo Bush Bucks. BMC went down 2-1 at New Lobatse stadium on Saturday.

It is survival of the fittest at the bottom of the log.

The going is getting tough for Letlapeng FC and the side is languishing at the bottom of the log with eight points. The Ramotswa-based side has won two matches and drawn twice.

The club has registered 10 losses, scoring 10 times and conceded 26 goals. ECCO City Greens added salt to injury when they hammered Letlapeng 2-0 over the weekend.

ECCO’s win has moved them to position 15 with nine points. Sunday match between Extension Gunners and Police XI did not produce goals as both teams played to a goalless draw.
