Once again scores of local tourists and local fun lovers are expected to throng this village which is known for fun and Minex says they are prepared to welcome the tourists.
He revealed in an interview that as part of preparations for the Maun 2014 festive season, they have undertaken an upgrading of the club to answer all the entertainment needs over festive.
The new additions include a pool side, garden cocktail bars and a connection of WIFI internet. Now the club which Minex prefers to call an entertainment ‘Centre’ has a restaurant, garden cocktail and pool side bars, Night club, lounge, secured parking area and a car wash.
He says his target was to convert the club into a one stop entertainment centre which can answer the needs of revelers in this town of fun.

He revealed that his club will kick off its festive offerings on December 19 by organising a beauty contest for Big Mamas branded Miss “Mothibo, African curves.” He said the contest give all the African ladies with big bodies a chance to showcase their beauty contrary to the believe that beauty pageants are just for the lean women.
On the 20th, the Night Club will host Dr Tawanda and Dj Goveya who are expected to perform live their hit songs.
However, the highlight of the activities will be on the 24th as Fresh Exclusive hosts a horse racing event at the Sakaumba farm.
The race termed the ‘Maun Mega Xmas horse’ race will be hosted annually according to the youthful entertainment mogul. It will bring together horses from Charls Hill,Tonota and Tsabong. P 53, 000 has been set aside as prize money for the winning horses.
“Maun is synonymous with horse racing and it has been the main missing link over the festive season as other existing races happen mid year so we decided to organise another race over the festive season”.
Minex says as part of the run up for the race, Fresh Exclusive will hold a raffle giving members of the public a chance to win a horse.
The club will the following day still at Sakaumba farm hosts host Naak Musicq who was commonly known as MJ during his acting time in the South African soap Generations.
The club has for a second year partnered with the organisers of the My Maun Experience. On the December 26, one of the activities lined for the Maun Experience will be a fashion show held at Maun lodge. Following the show, they would be an after party event at Fresh Exclusive expected to be attended by the Who is Who’s coming for the Maun Experience.
On the New Year eve, the club will host another big event at Sakaumba farm featuring SA pro twerkers as the headliners of the show. Other big names expected to grace the show include. Mr O. T Man, HT, drummer Boy and a host of other artists.
Meanwhile Minex has revealed that this year he will also be unveiling his farm or the ‘‘Minex Farm’ to the visitors. He says all the celebrities coming for the Maun Experience will be housed at the farm which is situated just along the river.
The farm is situated at the intersection of rivers channels in Dikgatlhong; one going to Boteti and the other to Lake Ngami. Some of the treats for visitors at the farm will include boat cruise and fishing expeditions, photographing and hippo sighting on the nearby hippo lagoon.
The farm offers rented chalets and camping and has serviced ablutions.
