Charma Gal encourages artistes to practice philanthropy

Charma Gal is currently a KFC Add Hope ambassador. Part of her job is to visit different orphanages around the country to help out by performing different duties and also distribute groceries provided by the KFC Add Hope initiative.

Speaking on Saturday at a KFC Add hope visit to Bana Ba Keletso Day Care Centre in Molepolole the Culture Spears lead singer said, “We should also play a social responsibility performing different roles”.

She further mentioned that the participation and interaction of artists with their communities is an inspiration to the latter since they only get to see their stars on television and newspapers.

Charma Gal performed a number of tracks for the children at the centre, and served them food she prepared from their kitchen.

Another celebrity, Yarona fm DJ Tshepang ‘Izzy’ Motsisi, encouraged his counterparts to actively participate in helping the society through different causes.

Izzy said that the participation of artists in community projects could inspire other members to lend a helping hand.

The two personalities are both KFC Add hope ambassadors, who visit different orphanages and give motivational speeches. They gave Bana Ba Keletso early Christmas gifts that comprised of school bags, books and colour pencils.
