The home side showed team-work, fighting spirit, hunger, dedication and tactical discipline but still failed to beat their opponents.

This is despite the fact that in recent matches, Tonota FC have had the edge over their opponents. GNT nearly got the usual beating from an impressive Tonota side that attacked relentlessly. Tonota FC outplayed GNT in all departments but failed to score from the numerous chances they created.

If Tonota FC had collected maximum points in the match, they could have been sitting comfortably in second position in the log. Kenny Simusokwe’s star-studded side played like champions but lacked the killer instinct.

The likes of Keoagile Botshelo, left back Thabologo Motswere and ever overlapping Mpho Njadingwe played their hearts out but their efforts failed to yield victory. “This is what happens in all the games we play. We create many clear cut chances but do not find the back of the net,” lamented the Tonota FC founder, Bontshetse Maokaneng. He said his players defended well and knocked the ball around to create chances but failed to convert.
