Africas best comedians ready for Botswana

Anne, who arrived in the country yesterday, is expected to host two shows on Friday and Saturday.  The first is an outdoor event to be held at the Molapo Piazza, while the second would be a corporate affair billed for Thapong Visual Arts Centre.

Before leaving her home country Anne posted on social network Twitter:  “A BREAK FROM THE USUAL” Just packed my bags for BOTSWANA tonight. I can’t wait to share all this life with you.”

“Kasiime Anne is an international award-winning comedian and has survived the cutthroat entertainment industry and persevered in the male dominated field of comedy.  That alone speaks volumes about who she is and what she does,” said event promoter Karabo Musa.

On the other side of town, award winning stand up comedian Noah and Khoza are expected to dish out their best at Molapo Piazza, at a comedy show dubbed ‘Lost in Translation’, to be held on Saturday. Noah’s last show in Botswana was in October 2013.

Tickets for all shows are already on sale, and range between P200 and P500.
