Goitse survives eviction

Last week, the young woman from Mahalapye was up for possible eviction, but lady luck was on her side.

Four countries namely Botswana, Mozambique, Nigeria, and Rwanda saved Goitse.  She was up for possible eviction alongside Macky2 from Zambia who has survived a couple of evictions, Mr 265 from Malawi, Idris from Tanzania, and South Africa’s Samantha.

When the results were announced it was down to Samantha and Mr 265.  The show’s presenter IK Osakioduwa, was the bearer of the bad news, dashing the two’s hopes of winning the USD300,000 prize money.

South Africa’s Samantha was at the bottom, with only her country vote. 

Two countries, Malawi and Zimbabwe, voted for Mr 265 but unfortunately it was not enough to keep him in the house. Idris had the same number of country votes as Goitse, having been voted by Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

Macky2 this time around received votes from Namibia, Rest of Africa, and Zambia. It was the second time for Goitse to be up for possible eviction, including the first week, when all housemates were put up.

In this latest case, she was put up after failing the freeze task, not by nomination by fellow house mates.  The rules of the game were such that should any of the housemates move when they have been instructed to freeze, they would suffer some form of penalty. 

Goitse unfortunately threw herself to the ground in tears, when Big Brother brought midgets into the house.

During the freeze task Big Brother instructs housemates to freeze in whatever position they are in, then attempts are made to  scare, startle or shock them to see if they will move.

Meanwhile, this week is bound to be an interesting one in the Hotshots house. Big Brother has decided to play a prank on housemates by telling them that they will be competing with housemates from previous seasons of Big Brother. Biggie as the housemates fondly call him, told housemates that this week all of them are up for possible eviction, and they will be competing for votes with the selected housemates from previous seasons.  The prank has of course shaken some who feel the housemates who have been brought into the game at this crucial time are strong contenders.

Housemates will spend one week with contenders from previous seasons namely Feza, Miss P, Elikem, Natasha, Leonel, Uti, Luclay, Feza, Denzel, Sulu and Vimbai.
