He said the club is new in the Premier League and a long lay-off affects the performance of its players. He pointed out that they played well when they drew 0-0 with Township Rollers and the 1-0 loss to BDF XI.

The league was interrupted by the Mascom Top 8 action and the Zebras match against Tunisia in the 2015 AFCON qualifiers on Friday.

During the break, Molosi said his side has been busy with training as they prepare for the duel with Letlapeng at Maun Sports Complex this weekend. He said they are worried that players might be rusty when they meet Letlapeng.

Meanwhile, Molosi played down rumours that former Sankoyo chairperson, Mokolobetsi Pelekekae has returned to the club. He said he was not aware of the change of heart by Pelekekae because he has not received any communication from him.

“We had a meeting on Friday but nothing was communicated to us by the secretary. He wrote us a resignation letter last time and we expect the same thing to happen when he wants to retrace his steps to the club. It will be a good thing if he decided to come back,” he said.  The club will be hosting a fund raising event on December 3 in Maun. Molosi explained that they intend to invite members of the business community in the village and sell the product (football) to them. He stated that in most instances, clubs complain that they are not receiving financial backing from businesses, yet they are not doing anything to market the product.
