Muzila, together with nine others, were appointed by the Botswana National Sports Council (BNSC) as the new executive committee of WASBO.  Following her appointment, Muzila told delegates at their annual general meeting (AGM) that the previous committee did well and promised to carry on where they left off.

She emphasised the need to work as a team. “The challenge is always implementation and not getting the results we intended. For us to get the results we want, we have to share a vision,” he said. She urged everyone at the meeting to play their roles for the development of sport. “We will try to walk the path. It will be thorny but we will succeed. I will make sure the voice of women is heard in sport,” she said.

BNSC chairperson, Solly Reikeletseng thanked the previous committee and regional committees for their commitment and hard work they put towards the development of women in sport. He said one of the objectives of hosting the International Working Group (IWG) women in sport conference is to further raise the standards and strengthen women in sport development structure. “We should seek to achieve sustainable benefits for many years beyond the four year preparatory phase,” he said.
