The exhibition titled Another Year is scheduled to open on November 13, 2014 and will run until January 31.

Jobson told Showbiz that the exhibition does not have a common, explaining that his works, which will be on display, are in series.

“These range from economic disparity to colonialism and more,” Jobson said. The artist has been involved in a number of art projects in the country, which include running the Millennium project at the Grand Palm.  He has had a number of exhibitions in the country.

Some of the artworks he has previously exhibited include The Pianist, a beautiful piece of work, which shows a man playing the piano, in what might be translated to be a shebeen or pub, with a number of individuals enjoying the music.

The pianist’s face seems very content with the melodies he is dishing out. Other pieces previously exhibited by the talented artist include Postscript, Fragmented, Party Member, and Looking Up.  Over the years Jobson has had exhibitions in South Africa and Mozambique. “Over the past few years I have worked with many artists through the Outside Art Programme with Maitisong Festival, which has also tried to bridge the gap between the Performing Arts and Fine Art,” he said.
