Although she took a break from radio, Jazelle still rocks on radio. Recently she made a come back when Reginald Richardson went on a debates project  around the country.

She was asked to hold the fort for him on his morning show called Breakfast with Reg and she nailed it.  This year marks her 15 years in the broadcasting industry.

In an interview, Jazelle revealed that, “ I wake up at 4:00am daily and fortunately I have finally found my feet with Reggie’s show.”

She further said she is now relaxed and is enjoying every bit of the show as there is so much to learn. Jazelle wants to dig out the unsaid, unseen and contribute to people’s moods every morning as they start their day.

So far, Jazelle has received positive and overwhelming feedback from listeners and management of Gabz FM. The vivacious radio personality is a success on air because she appreciates her listeners, always gets to know them through interaction and being authentic.

Jazelle perceives herself as  more matured, passionate and embraces herself more as a woman and a mother to her ten year old daughter. According to Jazelle, she left Gabz FM in 2010 due to reservations behind the scenes after joining the station in 2009.

Fortunately Kenneth Moeng called her back this year to come and fill in for Reggie and now she is loving every moment.

She honestly thought she was done with radio, but thanks to ADC Media Works and  Builders Warehouse who restored her confidence by giving her work to talk about their DIY projects on Duma fM and  RB 2.

This is the second time Jazelle  is hosting the Morning show on Gabz FM as she did it before with Thebe Mogapi in 2010. She first hosted Yarona FM morning show in 2004 and she knows how to get listeners tuned in with her bubbly personality, lovely and captivating voice as well as her fluency in both English and Setswana.

The radio veteran  also believes that the brand of a station is the morning show as it always shines, through it, so she is honoured to be doing it again.

Mogapi and I laid the foundation of the morning show and we had an amazing time,” said Kebakile.

She also embraces memories of cross broadcasting with a South African radio station and it felt like they were in the same studio though they were airing from different stations..

However, Jazelle like everyone else has met challenges in her life such as leaving radio to study Public Relations at varsity in Cape Town and dropping out due to pregnancy. The hardest part about being a radio personality is having one’s personal life discussed on social media such as the then eDumela which was more like today’s Facebook.

Jazelle is also a seasoned MC for corporate events and a strategist Public Relations personnel and has worked with PR  agencies such as Hotwire and OP Advertising .  She is also good at public speaking coaching and hopes to teach more people about this skill.

Besides being on radio, Jazelle has also done some television advertising and is not yet ruling out working on television one day.

In the near future she plans to pen  her autobiography.
