The coach left the club last week, ending a long marriage that started at the now defunct Security Systems.

There are reports that some of Rolling Boys’ administrators were interfering in the team selection, but Letsogile shot down the allegations.

He said as administrators, they manage the technical team and some people might have thought it was interference when in fact it was not. He said they parted ways with Kaelo because of administrative differences. He did not provide details on the differences.

“We have worked with Kaelo for sometime, starting at Security Systems. Why would we interfere with his job today? The administrators currently running Rolling Boys are the ones that were at Security Systems,” Letsogile said.

He added that Kaelo’s departure had nothing to do with the team’s performance. “We are doing relatively well so this has nothing to do with the results on the field.

You will realise that the difference in points between us and log leaders is just four, so he was doing well on the field,” Letsogile asserted.

The team is currently under the tutelage of Webster Kuruwasimba on a caretaker basis. The Zimbabwean was Kaelo’s assistant before he left last week.  Kaelo was at the helm when Security Systems were promoted to the Premier League before they were kicked out together with Police XI following their failure to pay affiliation fees to the Gaborone City Regional Football Association.  The then Security Systems’ management then took over Rolling Boys in Division One and immediately roped in Kaelo as the coach. They got promotion to the First Division last season and finished second.
