Rollers had reportedly reached an agreement with the player’s club, Don Bosco for a loan deal but have been waiting for FIFA’s green light to use the player.

Although Rollers’ manager, Motshegetsi Mafa, was cagey on whether the player would be able to play before the January transfer window, there are speculations that the player will officially don the blue and gold jersey in January. Mafa confirmed the player started training with them last week.

“He is currently training with us. He started on Thursday,” Mafa said. The arrival of Ramatlhakwana is expected to boost Rollers’ attack. Rollers have been relying heavily on the Namibian striker, Jerome Louis. His experience with the national team is likely to be a major boost for Rollers when they venture into Africa for the CAF Champions League. Rollers are also chasing the signature of Galagwe Moyana who was recently declared a free agent by the Players’ Status Committee (PSC).

Ramatlhakwana joined the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) side together with Phenyo Mongala and Dirang Moloi from Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

Things did not work out for the trio and they have been fighting for their release from the club.

Both Chiefs and Rollers negotiated with the club to have Mongala and Ramatlhakwana on loan at the beginning of the season and have been waiting for FIFA’s green light on the transfers.

Moloi, on the other hand, is still fighting for his release through the Players’ Union.
