Izzy to perform at Big Brother

Izzy is set to leave the country on October 24 where he is billed for two performances - one at the house party on Friday and the other on Sunday at the live eviction show.
Izzy revealed that his upcoming performance at BBA is a milestone that will elevate his career and expose him to the rest of Africa.
He said that he has had an interest to perform at the platform for the last two years, but never managed to.
He added that he believes he has reached a point in his career where he needs to expand beyond the borders of Botswana.
The DJ who has been at it for five years pointed out that he has almost played at most venues locally hence why BBA is the next step for him.
Izzy added that he believes he has what it takes to perform in front of a bigger audience and that is why Yarona fm has faith in backing him up on his interest to showcase. “This year my performance at BBA was a collective effort as I was backed up by Yarona fm. We had an advantage because we are the official radio broadcasting partner and we have been closely working with MultiChoice,” he said.
Furthermore, the talented DJ said that he will maintain playing a set that is familiar to him after his mentor advised him to do so. He highlighted that his intentions are to play more local music so as to expose local artists.
“As much as I am going there as Izzy I am also going there as a Motswana and that is why I have to represent Botswana in the best possible way that I can,” he said.
As a part of his personal branding, he has been doing photo shoots with KO Photography for BBA and Mafia Soul would dress him for both performances.
On Botswana housemates, Izzy said that he believes that they are doing well. He, however, acknowledged that more so that it is the beginning of the season it is difficult for housemates to stand out.
He added there is a balance between housemates because Sheila is outgoing and Goitse is pretty much a quiet character.
Since he leaves on election day the DJ said that he will vote before he leaves and has pushed his flight to a time that will allow him to vote. Izzy is nominated for the Best Hip Hop Yarona fm Music Award.
