Sister Anna set to release God Is Not A Man

In this engaging 10-track offering, the Serowe-born singer showcases her vocal prowess.  Anna avoided the trap of recording the same old tired gospel choruses and hymns in this album.

God Is Not A Man opens up with the danceable and the racy chorus There Is No One Like Jesus.  It is in this opening track that the artist exhibits her powerful voical projection and it is safe to say this song is going to win the artist a good number of followers.

Anna’s rendition of the popular hymn, E Jwale Ke Tla Goroga is something fresh and here she shows that she is comfortable singing hymns just as she is singing choruses.

E Jwale Ke Tla Goroga is followed by Lebitso Le Na Le Maatla and Modimo Wa Dikhutsana respectively. Although Modimo Wa Dikhutsana is a chorus that has been attempted by many artists, Anna offers something different. The title track, God Is Not A Man is laid back and very refreshing. It is also in this track that the artist shows her vocal capability and the fact that she can try her hand at a number of genres. Other songs in the album are If Your Presence and Re Mo Thotse.

Sister Anna engaged one of the country’s most gifted vocalists, Shinkie Keitlhokile as a backing vocalist in the album. Although Shinkie is yet to have a major breakthrough in the gospel market he is good at what he does.

God Is Not A Man was recorded at Black Money Makers. It was produced by Dr Tawanda and Tshepo Molefinyane. Dr Tawanda also mastered and mixed the album.

The sleeve was designed by Mabijo Productions owned by Tebogo Motswetla of the famous Mabijo cartoons.

With God Is Not A Man, Sister Anna has asserted her place as one of the new gospel artists who are going to take gospel music in this country to another level. Showbiz is reliably informed that the artist has already started shooting videos for some of the songs in the album.
