This year the bank will host internationally renowned American jazz heavyweight Earl Klugh who is set to perform with local saxophone maestro, Lister Boleseng, at Gaborone International Convention Centre.

The first edition of the All That’s Jazz Festival was in 2012 and it hosted legends that included the late Joe Sample and David Sanborn as well as Botswana’s very own Shanti Lo. Speaking at a press conference held prior to the event, Director of Marketing and Communications, Bomolemo Selaledi, said who attend the show should expect top notch entertainment.

She said that last year they were unable to host the show because they had a hard time identifying an international jazz artist to perform. She, however, said that this year they are delighted to have managed to get Klugh to perform in Botswana.

“We can proudly say Batswana will have yet another great musical experience at this year’s event.  FNBB has always been committed to the development of Botswana’s arts and culture as outlined in its corporate social responsibility mandate.  This festival is one of the ways in which we hope to achieve this,” she said.

For his part, Botswanacraft manager Oliver Groth, responsible for the promotion of the show, said that Klugh’s music is one that deserves to be listened to with love and appreciation.

“Klugh’s music is the type that you go to see and listen to with a loved one because it is something that leaves an everlasting impression,” he said. Tickets for the show will be pre-sold for P500 at Botswanacraft or at Web Tickets in Riverwalk.
