Briefing the media on Friday, Incepta Communications managing director, Thabo Majola said since the inception of the expo, demand for information on property ownership has increased. He said this influenced their decision to re-brand the expo. Majola noted that this ascertains that the expo has been a hit not only with the exhibitors, but also members of the public with interest in property investment.
“It has been designed to create a platform for stakeholders in the property market and related sectors, to converge in order to promote trade, create dialogue and share industry specific skills,” he said.
Majola explained that with 2014 Emerging Markets Risk Report ranking Botswana number one in Africa for property investment in terms of the risk and uncertainty associated with emerging markets, the expo serves as the ultimate solution for stakeholders and members of the public with interest in property investment and lifestyle.
“This is testament that now is the right time to invest in property as it is a part of our lives in one way or the other, whether you are building a dream house from scratch or you are giving your current home or office a face-lift,” he said.
The three-day expo, which has been put together in partnership with Botswana Housing Corporation will run from the 16-18 October 2014 at Boipuso Hall. The expo is expected to attract exhibitors from across Africa. Incepta Communications are the organisers.
