Thailand honours Tlou

The delighted Tlou broke the good news to her 4,970 Facebook followers last Friday. Tlou is now based in Johannesburg, South Africa, where she works as regional director of UNAIDS.
“On behalf of the Princess Srinagarindra Award Foundation Trustees, I would like to acknowledge that you have been selected to be the recipient of the Princess Srinagarindra Award for the year 2014.
I would like to congratulate you on this great honour.
“This Award was established in honor of H.R.H. the late Princess Srinagarindra Mahidol who is the mother of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand; therefore the Award is recognised as one of the most prestigious in the country.
We hope that you agree to accept the Award and will attend the ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand on October 22nd, 2014,” reads the letter.
