On form young Segokgo made crucial saves to keep the score respectable.  It  was in the second minute when Meat Girls’s tested him with a thunderous shot  which she fisted over the crossbar.

This safe won Segokgo the  supporters’ hearts who came in large numbers as they shouted “Spider’ for the entire game.

Meat Girls started the game like a house  on fire forcing Action’s defence into schoolboy errors early on, but it was the acrobatic and ever alert goalie who kept the ferocious BMC at bay as she denied the ever dangerous  Kesegofetse Mochawe on countless occasions.

Though under pressure, Action took a 2-0 cousin into the second half.

It was on the 20th minute when the mercurial Bonang Otlhagile sold a dummy to the approaching Tlhalefang Mahura and lobbed in a cross which Kitso Sheba tapped into the net. And in the 28th minute Action scored their second goal through Thuso Leseane, again after poor defending by Meat Girls.

In the second half Action were the  better team as they pile pressure and defended well.

Meat Girls’ speedy Nametso Kutswane tried  with a powerful header that went wide in the 56th minute.

Action’s midfielder Phatsimo Bosa nearly  wrapped up the game for her team with a thunderous shot, but was unlucky to see Meat Girls keeper Oaitse Sekatweng proving to be equal to the task.

Meat Girls came close to scoring in the 42nd minute following a corner which was taken by Simone, this came after Action’s defenders fumbled in the goal area, allowing  Mochawe unleash a powerful shot outside the 18th area which missed by an inch.
