The tournament is a 20 overs contest featuring both boys and girls. South East region coordinator, Adam Adam, all the participating teams showed great improvement in this year’s event.

Mojadife and Magopane however proved their mettle, setting up what could be an interesting final.  In the first semi-finals, Ketshwerebothata clashed with Mojadife in both girls and boys categories and the latter managed to overcome Ketshwebothata’s teams to book a places in the finals. In the other semi finals, Magopane’s boya and girls sides also reachd the finals after beating St Bernard’s teams.

The finals will be played tomorrow starting at 1:00 pm. Adam pleaded with Ramotswa community to come in large numbers so as to boost the morale of young players.

“These games are free of charge, and I would be happy to see many supporters tomorrow, including teachers who are responsible for this country’s sport growth and without their input our young talented players would go to waste,” he said. Adam said Ramotswa teachers have shown their commitment and love to the sport.

He added that many teachers have now been trained as volunteers who are now even able to officiate.
