Francistown to host leadership conference

Atlanta, Georgia, USA  will host a world-class personal growth and leadership conference titled L2: Learn-Lead boasting of renowned best seller authors, John Maxwell, Linda Kaplan Thaler, and Tim Sanders. 

The three are also considered to be experts in a variety of fields.

The live event is scheduled to take place in October 10, 2014, with broadcasts in a number of countries around the world.

Those who are in Botswana should not despair, as the event will be broadcasted on October 22, 2014 at Adonsonia Hotel, in Francistown.

Leadership Nurturing Director, Hannah Lecha, said the event will be interesting in that renowned author and leadership expert, Maxwell, will at the same time be launching his latest book, Good Leaders Ask Great Questions. 

Lecha explained that the conference will concentrate on personal growth and leadership, saying that those who attend will get valuable information that will contribute immensely to their personal growth and sharpen their leadership skills.

  “This simulcast will be powerful for CEOs, business owners, leadership teams and anyone who wants to improve in their leadership skills.  Our goal is to help the business and corporate community become stronger leaders at home, in their daily vocations and in their local communities.  The conference promises to bring a day of leadership training that will inspire, motivate and educate,” she said.

Lecha said Maxwell, apart from being a renowned author, is a leadership expert.

Lecha is an independent certified John Maxwell Team member. She said she will also deliver a speech at the end of the broadcast. Her speech will concentrate on self-leadership.

“When people think of leadership, they think of leadership in terms of being a CEO or manager, but personal leadership is equally important,” she said.

She further explained that in order for someone to be a good leader, it is important to start with personal leadership, adding that individuals, who know how to lead themselves, find it easier to work without supervision, and also have better time management.

Charges for the conference are as follows: P1,500 per person, P1,250 for groups of 5 or more and an early bird special of P1,000 (before or on September 30).
