Debutants Tsabotlhe held former Premier League side, Miscellaneous to a goal draw in a Serowe derby on Saturday. It was an impressive result for Tsabotlhe considering it was their first time in the First Division and that their opponents were only relegated from the top flight last season.
Another rookie, Kazungula Young Fighters claimed the scalp of former Premier League side, TAFIC in a 2-1 win.
It is still early season but the TAFIC loss might have raised questions as to whether the team is ready to make a quick return to the elite league.

On Sunday, the closely contested Francistown derby between TASC-GNT ended in a goalless draw.
Francistown outfit, Amakhosi got a point away in Serowe in a 0-0 draw against Green Lovers on Sunday. Both Amakhosi FC and Lovers are hoping to build from a promising campaign last season.
