Ringo to perform at Barclays@Play music concert

Ringo will perform alongside renowned local artists Afro-jazz Trio comprising of Tumediso ‘Shanti-Lo’ Loeto, Nnunu Ramogotsi and Kearoma Rantao.
Streethorn managing director, Soares Katumbela, said this would be the first time the three musicians perform together as the Afro-jazz Trio.
He said the performance would set the tone for the trio’s music tour.
The trio is expected to go on tour to perform in Germany and Sweden. The music concert will also feature a performance by a local group, which is fast gaining popularity, Team Distant.
Katumbela also noted that fans would be treated to photo opportunities with their favourite musicians. He said a professional would take the photographs. He added that autographed CDs by performing artists would also be on sale at the show.
Barclays@Play is a non-profit entity, established to promote social interaction among Barclays employees, and create work life balance.
Barclays@Play believes that through this concert they will be contributing to the growth of the local music talent by giving local musicians an opportunity to showcase their ability. “We believe Botswana is a corridor to investment in the rest of Africa.
