Sky fashion At Limko

 

The musician who was performing at the SKY (Shapo Ka Yone, Sure Ka Yone) girls event  told the teenage girls present at the gathering that they should strive to look for love rather than money in a relationship.

SKY is a sisterhood of teenage girls from across Botswana who have pledged to stay true to themselves and take the SKY pledge that encourages defining their choices in life.

“l advice you to look for a guy who loves and respects you. Dont stand for abuse because he gives you money. If he has money its ok but before the money he should be a man who loves”, he said to the applause of the young girls who had filled the hall. Vee went on to talk about the importance of love in a relationship before continuing with his performance.

Apart from Vee’s performance other artists who also took the stage include Samatha Mogwe, Zeus and Elte among others. The event also boasted of an array of activities that included a fashion showcase by some of Botswana’s top designers.

This included a showcase by jewellery designers Sino Ragontse of TRPLS  and Janine Byliefeldt as well as fashion designers Mothusi Lesolle of iZaura,Aobakwe Molosiwa of Glided Sands,Kaone Moremong of House of Kay, Theo Khumalo of Theorags and Namie Mos of Egregious DV-Esque.
