Dintwa said that he has publicly stated that he is not the one Batswana should be looking forward to seeing when the show starts on Sunday.

He said that it is impossible for him to be the country’s rep at this year’s reality show, which will be known as Hotshots.

“I am now head of Programming at Yarona fm,“ said the former Duma fm presenter.

However, reliable sources have confirmed that former Miss Universe Botswana, Sheillah Molelekwa, is the chosen one to represent the country in the upcoming season of Big Brother Africa.

The former beauty queen is said to have left the country already.  A certain gentleman known in the arts circles as Jups who will also be representing Botswana accompanies Molelekwa.

Last year DJ O’Neal Madumo and former beauty queen Motamma Sesinyi represented Botswana at the Big Brother Africa Chase edition, which was simply dubbed The Chase.

Namibian housemate Dillish Matthews won The Chase edition.

Before the two Chase mates there were sisters Eve and Edith Maygilip who were part of the Star Game edition. Other previous representatives include Kaone Ramontshonyana who went to the house on two occasions, Zeus, Peo Sebotho, Tawani Lebani and Warona Setshwaelo.

The ninth season winning housemate stands a chance to walk away with $300,000 (P2,636,040).  The show that will be aired 24/7 for 91 days will once again have Nigerian IK Osakioduwa as the host for the fifth time in a row.
