Werda police arrest missing woman�s lover

Police say they believe Thusoyaone Cooper (28) of Kokotsha murdered his girlfriend, Keamogetse Motshabi.

Cooper who works as a night watchman at Kokotsha Clinic is believed to have murdered Keamogetse Motshabi between Werda and Kokotsha between July 5-25 this year.

“The accused was arraigned before Tsabong Magistrate Court recently on a holding charge of murder and is helping us with investigations.

The family of the victim approached our police post in Kokotsha to report the missing woman.

We arrested her boyfriend (Cooper) after a while since he was the last person seen with the missing woman,” said Werda Police Station commander superintendent Othusitse Motswai.

The two had travelled together to Tsabong where the woman worked. The woman was also from Kokotsha. Investigations continue.
