Noello drops album, introduces clothing line

The rapper took a year and half in the studio working with different producers such as A1keys and Risq on the 17 track album titled, Pula.

“I decided to take my time working on this project because I wanted to make good quality music that has an authentic hip hop sound,” Noello said.

He told Showbiz that Pula features a number of artists such as Mosako, J de Nandoboy and YAMAs (Yarona fm Music Awards) nominee A.T.I. 

Three singles from the album, which are Oska Becha, Yimmiwiii and You Will Never Know are already on roatation at radio stations.

Noello said his new album caters for everyone, adding that the album contains songs that people can easily relate to and enjoy.

“I have turn up, motivational and trap tracks in the album,” he said.

He said that he came up with a new sound called Ghubu rap, which is similar to Newage-kwaito rap.

“I was inspired by K.O.’s hit Caracara and I decided to come up with my own sound that is a mixture of Kwaito and rap,” he said.

Noello is planning on touring the country to launch his new album.

The rapper also released a new clothing line of snap back caps branded with his name.

“I decided to broaden the Noello brand and create awareness by designing snap backs that have my name there,” he said.

The Noello snap backs come in different colours. 

Noello further said he is in the process of coming up with a new range of Noello jeans and water bottles.

The new album and the caps will be hand distributed in malls and different parts of Gaborone and other cities.
