MFDP Hosts Development Forum

The aim of the forum is to sensitise stakeholders on the ongoing consultations, at global, regional and national level, and more importantly to build consensus on the new development agenda.

The new agenda succeeds the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which come to an end on 31st December 2015, as the global framework for engagement in development.

In a statement, the ministry said that Botswana has already demonstrated interest in the new agenda, not least because Botswana values global solidarity.
