The Zebras are in a group of death and the Botswana Football Association (BFA) hopes to reap rich from the massive crowds expected to watch the matches featuring some of the stars of world soccer.

The Zebras’ first home game is midweek in Gaborone against Senegal on September 10 at the National Stadium.

Attendance at Zebras’ matches has been unsatisfactory despite a promising start to the AFCON 2015 qualifiers where the team is unbeaten in four competitive matches.

“We will do all we can to attract players. We are working with Computickets for the ticketing.

I am hopeful we will get a lot of fans,” BFA chief executive officer, Keith Masters told Mmegi Sport.

The BFA will charter a flight for fans to attend the Zebras’ September 6 away game in Monastir, Tunisia.

About 120 spaces are available for the travelling supporters to the match, which kicks-off at 8:15pm Botswana time.

“The cost of the flight is a P18,000 return, accommodation is not included in this price and will be at the clients’ own arrangement although BFA will be pleased to assist in any way,” said the BFA in a statement.

The flight departs Gaborone on September 3, returning on September 7. The association anticipates flight tickets to sell quickly.

Meanwhile, the cheapest tickets for the Zebras’ home games will cost P30 with the most expensive priced at P200.

The tickets will be sold at the following places - Computicket (Shoprite Bus Station), Kgale/Game City, Molepolole, Francistown, Maun, Checkers at Airport Junction and U-Save in Mochudi.
