The dribbling wizard has been below par since moving to Orapa. Tebatso Hule, Orapa United spokesperson could not state when the player will undergo surgery saying doctors are still assessing him.

Hule said the player is out of action as the coaches want him to fully recover from the injury. “Moyo heads to the operating table in October to fix his big toes,” said a club official.

He added that the technical bench has pleaded with the management to send the player for surgery because “he is an integral part of the team’s strike force”.

The player underwent a scan in May this year that revealed that dislocated bones require surgery.

“The problem is that you can end up having what is called reduced range of motion of the big toes joint.

The only way to prevent reduced range of motion is do the operation,” said a medical expert.

Moyo is only expected to return to action next year.
