The Maun side knows that a win over Police XI will mean they stay at the top of the table where goal difference keeps them below Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

Sankoyo and Chiefs are the only two sides with a 100 percent record after two games in the 2014-2015 campaign.

The new comers started the season with a 2-1 victory against Orapa United. Just when many thought they were motivated by the home crowd, they travelled to Selebi-Phikwe last Saturday and thumped FC Satmos 2-1.

However they face a Police XI side that is also undefeated. Sankoyo hope that Thato Manowe and Freddy Motukwa will maintain their scoring form against Police XI tomorrow.

The two players have each scored two goals in two games. Police XI on the other hand will pin their hopes on experienced players like Betsho Pius, Bashin Modisaotsile and Ndiyapo Letsholathebe who returned from a loan spell at BDF XI. Sankoyo are currently in second position on the log while Police XI is fourth.

In other matches tomorrow, Township Rollers take on BDF XI at Molepolole Sports Complex in one of the games of the weekend.

The defending champions struggled against Extension Gunners last Saturday and were lucky to get a point.

They seemed to run out ideas going forward without their creative player, Sekhana Koko who will be out for at least three months. The limelight will fall on defender, Otlantshekela Mooketsi who will be up against his former employers.  He is likely to face Kabelo Seakanyeng who is expected to operate on the right wing for BDF XI. Mooketsi has so far scored two goals from free kicks in the two games he has played for Township Rollers this season.

BDF XI on the other hand are still reeling from a 4-2 defeat at the hands of log leaders, Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

After taking a 2-1 lead, they allowed Chiefs to come back in the second half. Tomorrow’s encounter looks set to thrill with both sides seeking to seize the early initiative in the campaign.

The last time the two sides met was in the final of the Mascom Top 8 final where BDF XI emerged victorious in a penalty shootout. The game ended 1-1 in normal time.

Log leaders, Chiefs will take on Notwane at SSKB Stadium in another match which has the potential to thrill. The encounters between the two have never failed to excite fans.

Notwane started the season well, beating Gaborone United 3-2 in the first game only to suffer a 2-1 defeat to Police XI last weekend.

Chiefs under Mike Sithole have now scored six goals in two games, but face their former man, Innocent Morapedi, who saved Notwane from relegation last season. Phenyo Mongala is likely to feature for Chiefs.

The skillful winger has been loaned to Chiefs by his club, Don Bosco from DRC. Chiefs have emerged as the early title contenders following their demolition of fancied BDF XI.

FC Satmos and Nico United meet in a Selebi- Phikwe derby tomorrow while Orapa United host BMC. On Sunday, Motlakase Power Dynamos will lock horns with struggling ECCO City Greens in Selebi-Phikwe while GU take on new comers, Letlapeng in Molepolole.

All the games kick-off at 3:00 pm except the Gunners and BR Highlanders clash which start at 7pm tonight in Selebi- Phikwe.
