Thieves Steal Car With Owner Inside

While confirming the hijacking, Broadhurst Police Station Commander, Bonosi Molapisi would however not give details, except that they found the 50-year-old woman unharmed in the village that is around 50 kilometers South West of Gaborone.

He said they were, however, still looking for the perpetrators who got away with a Hilux double cab.

“I can confirm the incident…it was reported to our station but we are yet to get the full details of what happened,” he said. Molapisi further explained that there were two women in the car that was hijacked but the other woman managed to disembark from the car before it took off while the other one found in Mogonye was kidnapped by  the hijackers before they later let her go.

He added that they had not managed to ask the clearly shaken woman more questions as she was still in shock.
