Orange fundraise for charity

Through this promotion, Orange seeks to not only help the underprivileged by donating the proceeds but also to reward those who donate by offering weekly and monthly prizes.

This SMS donation drive is a continuation of the good relationship that Orange has with Shelter for the Hopeful Community. In the past, Orange donated part of the proceeds to this NGO from the 2012 AFCON SMS MEGA promotion.

The proceeds helped the organisation grow and keep improving people’s lives. Orange chose to work with Shelter for the Hopeful Community because their mandate is in line with Orange Botswana’s ambition of giving back to communities within Botswana in a more impactful manner.

This initiative gives Orange an opportunity to thank its customers and at the same time motivate them to partake in philanthropic activities.
